《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准·应用解读本》（以下简称“《解读本》”）是对《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准》（以下简称“《标准》”）在实际应用上的解读，对《标准》的整体框架、描述语，以及音节表、汉字表、词汇表和语法等级大纲做了进一步的解读和说明。
《解读本》分三册。
第一分册解读《标准》的等级描述、音节表、汉字表部分。其中《解读本》音节表较《标准》增加了每一等级的音节代表字，以及按音序排列的音节总表；《解读本》汉字表较《标准》增加了按音序排列的汉字总表、分级同音字表，以及手写汉字总表。
第二分册解读《标准》的词汇表部分，《解读本》词汇表较《标准》增加了每一等级词语的词性标注，并增设了按音序排列的词汇总表。
第三分册解读《标准》的语法等级大纲，主要对《标准》的语法等级大纲做了通盘的梳理，规定了每一等级语法点的系统编号。
The Chinese Language Proficiency Level Standards for International Chinese Language Education - Application Interpretation Book (hereinafter referred to as the "Interpretation Book") is an interpretation of the Chinese Language Proficiency Level Standards for International Chinese Language Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Standards") in terms of practical application, which provides further explanation and illustration on the It further explains and illustrates the overall framework and descriptors of the Standard, as well as the syllabus, Chinese character list, vocabulary list and grammar level outline.
The Interpretation Book is divided into three volumes.

The Syllable List of the Interpretation Book includes additional syllable representations for each grade and a summary table of syllables in phonetic order, while the Vocabulary List of the Interpretation Book includes a summary table of kanji in phonetic order, a list of graded homophones, and a summary table of handwritten kanji.
In the vocabulary list section of the second fascicle, the vocabulary list of the Interpretation Book has increased the lexical labelling of words at each level compared with the Standard, and added a summary table of words arranged in phonological order.
The third sub-volume, Interpretation of the Grammar Level Outline of the Standard, focuses on a general overview of the Grammar Level Outline of the Standard and provides for the systematic numbering of grammar points at each level.
